Abstract

In Judaism, the Ark of the Covenant is described in the Bible as a gold-plated wooden chest that contains the two stone tablets engraved with the Ten Commandments, given to Moses by God. In history, the Ark of the Covenant as a symbol of covenant, which the Israelites have kept it in that period throughout their lives in travels and wars, has been considered the most sacred religious object they had for them. According to them, the fact that the Ark of the Covenant was with them was considered both the might of God and the sign that God was with them on earth. For all these reasons, the Ark of the Covenant has always been a great source of motivation for Jews and added value to their lives in the sense of preserving the revelation given to Moses, whom they considered him the greatest prophet and lawmaker.
