In Christianity, we can say that the cult of Virgin The Mary, which is been moved to a position of an idol, has been developed due to the Bibles, to the
tradition of fathers of church, the desicions of 1.İznik and Ephesus Consuls which were the first Christian consuls and the declarations of Apokrif Bibles. While the Kanonik Bibles is declaring short and brief explanations about Virgin The Mary; the Apokrif declares emotional and exaggerated explanations about Mary. The Cult of Mary or Mariotlatrie which was noticed in the early years of Christianity, it has begun to receive attention according to the declarations of Apokrif Bibles from the II. Century. Especially the information in Jacob’s PROTEVANGİLİE dated II. Century has been provided the development of the cult of Virgin the Mary in Christianity. The Cult of Virgin the Mary, which has been drawn great attention in the populist Christianity, has begun to be widely
acknowledged in the official church environments.
